Alexandre Jourdon

Biography: Alexandre Jourdon is a second year postdoc working at the Yale Child Study Center. He studies the neurobiology and genetics of Autism Spectrum Disorder using brain organoid models in the lab of Flora Vaccarino.

Alexandre obtained his PhD in the institute of biology of the Ecole Normale supérieure in Paris where he worked on the development and maintenance of stem cells in adult neurogenic niches in the mice nervous system.

Alexandre joined the YPA almost right away when he arrived at Yale convinced that improving the social life and community spirit of postdocs was of tremendous importance for their careers and life.
