Biography:
Mehmet received his bachelor degree in Faculty of Science in Izmire, Turkey. He received his PhD in the field of Epidemiology & Parasitology at Ege University, Facult of Medicine. His dissertation was focused on Leishmaniasis among Syrian refugees in Turkey. He is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Aksoy Lab in LEPH and his studies focus on paratransgenic control of Trypanasomiasis.
