Teaching Scholar Positions Open for BIOL102 (Cell Biology & Membrane Physiology)

Teaching scholar positions are available for BIOL102 – Cell Biology & Membrane Physiology which will be taught by Valerie Horsley this upcoming Spring. This class is the 2nd half-term BIOL module in a 4-module BIOL series and will run over the course of 6 weeks. As a teaching scholar, your main responsibility will be to lead a weekly discussion section that will incorporate concepts learned from lecture in discussions based on seminal pieces of scientific literature. Lectures will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:35-12:50 pm. Before the Monday lecture, a teaching team meeting will take place to discuss the materials that that will be used to teach discussion section that week. The compensation is for 20hrs/week for the half term.  If you’re interested in this position and would like more details, please fill out the prospective teaching fellow form and send along your CV/resume to  Sam (samantha.lin@yale.edu) as soon as possible to set up a time to meet.
