The Yale Postdoctoral Association is dedicated to connecting postdocs at Yale to campus resources and to creating opportunities for networking with other postdocs.

Regular meetings are held monthly. The next one is on Tuesday, 8th August at 6:00 p.m in the Simbonis Conference Room of the Medical School Library.

Harkness Tower Tour & Concert

The most well-known symbol of Yale University Campus, Harkness Tower is home to the Yale Memorial Carillon which consists of 54 giant bells spreading beautiful tunes over the campus throughout the year. Join us for a tour inside this gothic tower and to enjoy some music above the ground!

YPA Sunday Bike Ride

Do you enjoy cycling? YPA is organizing group bike rides to enjoy beautiful scenery of New Haven and surroundings while cycling together with other fellow postdocs! Bring your bike and join us for a fresh Sunday morning ride to Sleeping Giant over Farmington Canal Heritage Trail!

Families of LGBTQ Children Lunch

The office of LGBTQ Resources and the LGBTQ Affinity group host lunches for parents of LGBTQ children (and their allies) every third Thursday of each month. All parents of LGBTQ children–as well as LGBTQ staff & faculty and allies–are invited to share this space for support, community, and conversation.

Are you a postdoc of Asian heritage? Are you interested in getting involved with the Asian Network at Yale (ANY)? You are cordially invited to attend one of our ANY strategic planning meetings. We will begin to develop our programmatic framework for the upcoming fiscal year, and welcome your suggestions. Lunch will be provided.

WorkLife- Transition to Parenthood

This session is for new and expectant parents to help set expectations and explore strategies to cope with the new demands of parenthood. Topics include strategies for adjusting to new parenting roles, coping with emotional and lifestyle changes, and how to increase your self-confidence as a new parent.
