This workshop will introduce the major elements of an academic CV. It will discuss general guidelines to follow, the most common categories listed, and the best ways of presenting material. It will also look at the basic elements of an academic cover letter, review best practices and common mistakes, and discuss ways of tailoring your application. RSVP through the Yale Career Link!

Join Grad Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Out in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (oSTEM), Women in Science at Yale (WISAY), and Yale League of Black Scientists (YLBS) for a fun wine and cheese social this summer! The goal of this social is to informally meet and network with various minority groups across the Yale graduate science community, while enjoying wine and cheese. We’ll organize a volleyball event Thursday/Tuesday June 6 th from 6pm - 8pm @ Payne Whitney Gym. We’ll meet at 6pm at the front entrance. Send an email to for registration - max 10 people. All levels (absolute beginners to advanced) welcome - please note that you need Gym membership for this event.
