Zahra Rattray

Role: Communication Committee Coordinator

Biography: 

Zahra is a third-year postdoc in the Department of Therapeutic Radiology at Yale School of Medicine where she studies the mechanism of cell penetrating lupus autoantibody bioactivity. 

Zahra joined Yale from AstraZeneca where she worked in pre-clinical and parenteral drug development. Prior to that Zahra completed a postdoc and graduated from the University of Manchester School of Pharmacy where her research focused on drug delivery and the application of novel image analysis algorithms. During that time Zahra was the chair of the school PhD/Postdoc Community and represented the school in the faculty of medical and human sciences. 

Currently, she is a Communications Officer and views the YPA as a platform for forming future networks and improving the overall postdoc experience.
