Anne Hahn

Biography:
Anne is a Postdoctoral Associate at the School of Public Health working on the genomic epidemiology of SARS-CoV-2 in Dr. Nathan Grubaugh’s group. Anne is a trained immunologist and obtained her PhD in 2020 from University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany. During her PhD, she focused on unconventional T cell responses against viral infections. She then moved on to pursue a Master program in ‘Control of Infectious Diseases’ at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Her projects at Yale involve the tracking of viral evolution, monitoring the emergence of novel variants and analyzing potential impacts on public health measures. Anne is active in science communication and outreach as well as supporting early career researchers.
