Anselm Sommer

Roles: Mentorship Committee member and Buddy Program Coordinator

Biography: Anselm is a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Mark Lemmon in the Yale Cancer Biology Institute in the Pharmacology Department. His research investigates protein-lipid interactions and is currently working on deciphering the enigmatic Wnt-signaling properties.

 
Anselm received his PhD from Kiel University, Germany, where he discovered the activating mechanisms of ADAM proteases. When not working in lab he enjoys sports and music and has a strong motivation for helping and mentoring other postdocs.
