Danielle Peterson

Biography: 

Danielle  studies autoimmune disorders such as alopecia areata and vitiligo. She conducts clinical trials investigating cutting edge therpaies for these disorders. In her spare time, she enjoys playing video games, writing fantasy novels, painting, cooking and biking. She is passionate about advocacy and works to fight on behalf of the disenfranchised in society. She volunteers feeding the food insecure in New Haven through the United Way. She also sits on the social committee for the Women’s Working Network at Yale and volunteers as a mentor for the Women in Science at Yale.
