David Moreno

Biography:
David is a Postdoctoral Associate in the laboratory of Dr Murat Acar in the MCBD
and the Systems Biology Institute on Yale West Campus since July 2019. His research focuses on the role of chromatin remodelers in the ageing progression of S. cerevisiae. He obtained his BS in University of Lleida, where he served as class treasurer; he obtained his Ph.D from the Institute of Molecular Biology of Barcelona in 2017 where he studied the interplay between proteostasis and cell cycle control in the context of cellular ageing. Besides work, David enjoys watching all kind of sports, specially cycling and Barça’s soccer games.
