Diego Kiedanski

Biography:

After dropping out a philosophy degree, Diego became a Computer Engineer by drawing maps of how the internet connects Uruguay with the rest of the world. He later moved to Paris, where he obtained his Ph.D. in markets, game theory and stochastic optimization applied to the power grid from Institut Polytechnique de Paris. He still considers learning French the hardest part of his time in France. After obtaining his degree he moved into the industry where he worked as an optimization engineer in Belgium and a Machine Learning Consultant for an Uruguayan company. Currently, Diego is a postdoctoral fellow within Yale’s Institute for Network Science under the supervision of Prof. Leandros Tassiulas.
