Krishna C. Mudumbi

Krishna is a postdoctoral associate in the Yale Cancer Biology Institute and the department of Pharmacology. His interests lie in understanding the kinetics of receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) signal transduction in both normal and cancerous cells. He tackles this problem by marrying his expertise in advanced microscopy techniques with other biophysical approaches. Krishna received his B.A. in political-science from Emory University. He subsequently changed his career trajectory by receiving an M.S. in biology from Saint Joseph’s University and his Ph.D. from Temple University.

Krishna started out as part of the Community and Networking Committee before becoming one of the West Campus Liaisons for the YPA. He is passionate about advocating for the equitable treatment of postdocs, particularly those that belong to an underrepresented or vulnerable group.
