Biography:

I am a postdoc in Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases at Yale School of Public Health. My current study is focused on understanding the molecular mechanism of host-parasite interactions in tsetse fly. I received my Ph.D. in entomology at The Ohio State University, studying the molecular physiology and ecology of mosquitoes and how that affects disease transmissions. During my Ph.D., I was the VP and treasurer of the entomology graduate student association, and served on various departmental committees including the graduate teaching enrichment committee, insect physiology hiring committee. I was also the president of Ohio Valley Entomological Association.

Outside of work, I like spending time with my family, friends and two cats. I enjoy outdoor activity very much, such as skiing (absolutely No.1 favorite thing), biking, hiking, swimming & paddle boarding. I also enjoy painting and playing board games with friends.
