Michelle Song

Biography:

Michelle is a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Comparative Medicine, studying the role of mitochondria in lipid metabolism and in regulation of circadian rhythm.

Michelle grew up in South Korea and moved to US with her family when she was 16. She obtained her B.S in University of Washington, Seattle and her PhD in Genetics at Yale.

Michelle is interested in creating a welcoming environment for post-docs coming from different backgrounds and cultures to promote the sense of belonging and support in Yale community.
