Some Reflections on 2017

As we bring the December newsletter to you, 2017 is nearly over. It has been a very exciting year for us at the YPA, with many great events being organized and hosted. We would like to thank our organizing committees and you for making these events very energetic and well-attended.

In line with our commitment to continually develop and grow the YPA organization, we have rebranded our committees in November, and introduced the treasury committee as a new function. If you would like to learn more about the YPA bylaws and changes to the organization, please click on this link.

The committees will now be known as “Advocacy”, “Communication”, “Community & Networking”, “Professional Development”, and the newly-appointed “Treasury” committee.

If your new year resolution is to make a difference, how about join the YPA, and become an active member of one of our committees! We are looking to roll out the first YPA symposium in 2018, so if you are interested in leading the planning or offering a helping hand, please contact any of the YPA members.

Last but not least, the YPA would also like to wish you a very happy holiday and new year.

We have included a snapshop of some of our 2017 events for your enjoyment. See you again in 2018 for new faces and more exciting YPA events!
