Prakruti Pandya

Biography:

Prakruti is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Dr. Jeffrey Bender’s laboratory at the Yale Cardiovascular Research Center, Department of Internal Medicine. Her research is focused on the role of innate immune cells in cardiovascular physiology and pathology, especially in hypoxic conditions. 
 
Prakruti graduated from C.U. Shah Medical College, India in 2017. She was the State Officer of the Standing Committee of Public Health (SCOPH), IFMSA in Gujarat, India.  She has also organized and volunteered in various medical campaigns in medical school. Prakruti is very enthusiastic and enjoys meeting fellow Yale postdocs. She likes to read novels, watch Sci-Fi movies, and cook in her free time.
