Adati Tarfa is a postdoctoral associate in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Yale School of Medicine, where she conducts research in Dr. Sandra Springer’s INSTRIDE Lab (Integrating Substance Use Treatment Research with Infectious Disease for Everyone).
Dr. Tarfa earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Drake University (2017) and her MS and PhD in Health Services Research from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2023). Her research focuses on pharmacist-driven approaches and leverages mixed methods and social-behavioral theories to develop and disseminate interventions addressing comorbid substance use disorders and HIV.
