Adina is a postdoctoral associate at the Stephen and Denise Adams Center for Parkinson’s Disease Research, where her research focuses on investigating the potential of current FDA-approved drugs for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. She holds a PhD from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, where her doctoral research centered on utilizing induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) technology to explore the role of the immune system in Parkinson’s disease. In addition to her research, Adina serves as the co-lead of the Communications Subcommittee for the Symposium Committee of the Postdoctoral Association, contributing to the organization’s outreach and engagement efforts. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, sailing, trivia, and baking, finding balance in both adventure and creativity.
