Anne-Marie is a postdoc at the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, School of Medicine. She earned her doctoral degree from Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich, where her research focused on the development of deep learning techniques for the segmentation of 3D MRI and CT scans, mainly of brains. Prior to studying Computer Science, Anne-Marie gained practical experience in the medical field as a nurse, working across various disciplines.
Her postdoc research aims to advance deep learning methods for multimodal cardiac image analysis. Her work specifically involves analyzing 4D cardiac echocardiography and CT data.
She joined YPA in March 2024 as a member of the Symposium committee and was a co-coordinator of the Communications Committee from July 2024 to May 2025. She joined the Secretary Committee in March 2026 as a co-coordinator.
Outside of work she enjoys being in nature, hiking, camping and music.
