I am a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University, studying the interactions between 26S proteasomes and nuclear importins using cryo-electron microscopy. I earned my Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Delhi South Campus, where I investigated enzymes involved in fatty acid and lipoic acid biosynthesis in Leishmania major using structural and biochemical approaches including NMR, X-ray crystallography, and enzyme kinetics. With over seven years of experience in molecular biology, protein biochemistry, and structural biology, I am passionate about exploring protein homeostasis and its relevance to health and disease.
As part of Yale’s Symposium Committee, I contribute to organizing Yale’s annual Postdoctoral Symposium, a large interdisciplinary event where postdocs present their work through oral and poster sessions. My goal is to foster an inclusive, collaborative atmosphere that highlights the breadth and excellence of postdoctoral research at Yale.I am committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for postdocs across disciplines.
Outside the lab, I enjoy traveling, cooking, and listening to music.
