Cristina is currently a postdoctoral researcher in chemistry at the Energy Sciences Institute on West Campus, collaborating with the Brudvig group. Her research focuses on developing novel, earth-abundant catalysts for water oxidation to facilitate artificial photosynthesis. She completed her PhD at the University of Milano-Bicocca in Italy, where she actively participated in the university’s sport committee. During her time there, she advocated for students and managed the volleyball team for four years. Nearing the end of her second year as a postdoc, Cristina decided to join the YPA, motivated by a desire to support her community. Her goal is to streamline the purchasing process, aiming to reduce associated stress and enhance overall efficiency.
