Giulia Lorenzon

Giulia Lorenzon

Coordinator and Modern Instructor leader
Mentorship Committee
Yale Postdoctoral Association

Giulia is a postdoctoral researcher in the Fredericks Lab in the Department of Neurology. She studies how reproductive and hormonal factors shape brain connectivity and Alzheimer’s risk in older women. She is also a psychologist particularly interested in stress and psychosomatic mechanisms. As coordinator of the Modern Instructor Program, she is committed to addressing the academic “no man’s land” of the postdoctoral stage by structuring teaching opportunities and professional development. Outside the lab, you’ll probably find her dancing reggaeton, writing, or video-calling her little nephews.
