Hongyu is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Yale School of Medicine,Department of Neurology, where she explores the function of the interaction between brain blood vessel and microglia in Alzheimer’s disease.
Hongyu obtained his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Institute of Neuroscience (ION), Chinese academy of sciences (CAS), China in 2022. In her PhD research, she focuses on the mechanism of brain blood vascular development by using zebrafish.
Hongyu loves play Erhu, a Chinese instrument. She enjoys plants, the outdoors, and hiking.
