Jacob is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Pharmacology at the School of Medicine. His current research interests involve applying molecular biology and biochemical applications to analyze cross-kingdom protein ‘superfamilies’ and develop multivalent vaccines against taxonomically diverse parasite species. Jacob earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Cincinnati, where he studied the development of electroactive biomaterials for nerve repair.
Jacob’s extracurricular interests include rock-climbing, biking, playing with his dog (Hobbes), and being stuck in traffic on I95. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns related to YPA, Jacob’s research, or anything else!
