Melike R. Yildirim is a postdoctoral fellow in Seli Lab, in the Ob-Gyn Department of Yale School of Medicine. Her research focuses on the unidentified mitochondrial mechanisms of reproductive aging in women and infertility. She obtained her medical degree at Hacettepe University (Ankara, Turkey) in 2021 and joined Yale University in 2022. She aspires to become an Ob-Gyn specialist and believes she would have the opportunity to help women with their problems at different stages of their lives. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling around the world and spending time with her friends and family.
