Melinda is a postdoctoral researcher in the Psychology Department working in the Brain and Cognition Lab. She studies how we remember different aspects of everyday life and how attention shapes what and how we remember. Her research spans both behavioral and neural approaches. She joined the mentorship committee and the Modern Instructor Program because she believes teaching is central to academia yet rarely trained. She hopes this program gives Yale postdocs real opportunities to develop their teaching skills and prepare them for future faculty jobs.
