Sarah is a postdoc in the Scott Holley lab in the Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology department. She is studying the role of the Fibronectin matrix in posterior body elongation. Sarah completed her Ph.D. in the lab of Dr. Mark Rebeiz at the University of Pittsburgh, where she studied the evolution of novel morphological structures. In her free time Sarah studies user interface (UI) design. In the future she hopes to combine her love of science and design. When not working, Sarah enjoys playing video games and spending time with her cat & dog.
