Sounak Ghosh Roy is a postdoctoral associate at the Department of Internal Medicine Nephrology, where he is investigating the role of a co-chaperone DNAJB11 in polycystic kidney disease. He has obtained a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the City University of New York, where he studied the role of autophagy and endoplasmic reticulum stress in Dengue and Zika infections. He is enthusiastic about collaborating with fellow postdocs as part of the YPA symposium committee.
