Ziwei is a postdoctoral associate in the Mechanisms of Disinhibition (MoD) Lab within the Department of Psychology. She earned her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Her research focuses on developing innovative statistical tools to help social and behavioral scientists tackle complex research questions, with a particular passion for longitudinal modeling and Bayesian approaches. Beyond her methodological work, she is dedicated to research that supports adolescent mental health.
Outside the lab, Ziwei enjoys boating on lakes, strolling along the beach, hiking in the woods, throwing clay on a wheel, and spending time with her puppy, Sirius.
