Aparna Nandavaram

Biography:

Aparna is a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Pharmacology at Yale University. She received her PhD in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Hyderabad in India. Her graduate training is focused on understanding the iron-responsive regulation of a phosphotriesterase encoding gene in gram negative bacteria. She has a good expertise working in RNA and Molecular Biology. 

Her postdoc training is focused on understanding the aberrant activation of chemokine signaling axis involved in Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma (AITL). Her research interest is to gain deeper insights into the dysregulation of Tfh (T follicular helper) cells and its implications in malignancy and autoimmunity. She is prospective of designing novel therapeutics for these pathological conditions.
