Biography:

Irma Dominguez-Vigil is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Therapeutic Radiology Department.  In 2020, she received her PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon in Mexico, where she studied Genetic Biomarkers for the early detection of gynecological cancers. Currently, she is studying the molecular mechanisms of PLK4 with the cell-intrinsic DNA Damage Response as a Strategy to Enhance the Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Radiation Response and understanding the interactions of STING with the DNA damage and repair machinery.
