Lama Ghazi

Biography:

Lama Ghazi, MD PhD is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Clinical and Transnational Research Accelerator at Yale University. Lama received her bachelors degree in Biology and medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. Following that, she completed two years of postdoctoral fellowship in the Vascular Biology and Hypertension Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She then received a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Minnesota before joining Yale University.  Her goal is to use various sources of information and various methods to transform chronic disease prevention and management, specifically hypertension. Lama is passionate about improving women representation in STEM.
