Marija Markicevic

Biography: 

Marija is a Postdoctoral Associate at the School of Medicine and Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging. She studies brain alterations following neurological brain disorders using preclinical functional magnetic resonance imaging combined with calcium imaging. Marija obtained her Ph.D. from ETH Zurich in Switzerland and joined Yale in 2022. She believes that at this transitional phase of our academic lives one of the essential ingredients for successful professional growth and development is a supportive network combined with good mentorship.
