Biography:
 
Amanda is currently a postdoctoral associate in the Ferguson lab in the department of Cell Biology at Yale. She is currently focusing on understanding innate immune signaling pathways in the context of Parkinson’s Disease. She earned her PhD at the University of Ottawa (Ottawa, Canada) in the department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine in 2021. During her PhD, she studied a novel post-translational modification termed polyphosphorylation, where her research guided her towards studying intracellular protein trafficking.
