Biography:

Pratap’s research interests encompass the identification of small molecules exhibiting antiparasitic activity. He is driven by the pursuit of understanding their mode of action and implementing translational approaches that contribute to the development of effective compounds. In particular, he is committed to addressing protozoan parasitic diseases with the ultimate goal of disease elimination, which holds significant implications for global economies and disease control efforts. His groundbreaking research has received recognition in numerous international journals and has also garnered attention in both national and international news articles. He received his PhD degree from the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Hyderabad, India.

Beyond his scientific pursuits, Pratap enjoys spending his free time indulging in culinary adventures, playing badminton, and embarking on hiking adventures.
